Raynet wins Fresenius, a global medical technology and healthcare group, as a new customer

January 11th, 2022 | Press release

Fresenius Digital Technology GmbH has chosen software and services from Raynet and USU Technologies to optimize its group-wide Software Asset Management (SAM). In addition to the functional depth of the SAM software, the decisive factors were the solution’s distinctive Technology Asset Inventory capabilities, the broad range of managed services, the consulting expertise, and the successful implementation of similarly complex projects.

Together with USU, Raynet was able to prevail over two competitors as a best-of-breed solution as part of a comprehensive selection process. Following a successful proof of concept with a focus on Microsoft 365 and a pilot project, all areas of the customer involved decided to work with USU as a solution partner until at least the end of 2026.

Transparency, automation, and control over IT assets are the result of a successful data transformation and the fundamental basis for modern Software Asset Management. This is what the Paderborn-based software manufacturer Raynet in cooperation with USU and HiSolutions agree on after the successful start of the project at Fresenius.

With the implementation of USU Discovery powered by RayVentory, Fresenius Digital Technology GmbH reduced effort and costs in a very short time while increasing data quality and reach. As a result, Fresenius has now been able to collect data continuously, creating the necessary transparency across all IT assets in its decentralized infrastructure.

"We are very pleased to convince Fresenius, another well-known customer, of our innovative technologies. The solution not only meets the complex needs of the medical technology and healthcare group, but also serves as a central data platform that provides valuable key figures for the entire internal Software Asset Management of the company."
