RayPack Studio & RayFlow 8.0: More power, efficiency, and AI for modern packaging

Raynet, global software vendor with market-leading solutions and complementary managed services for successful end-to-end management of IT projects and IT operations, announces today the release of RayPack Studio and RayFlow 8.0.

At a time when speed and efficiency are becoming increasingly important for companies, a powerful solution for all packaging requirements is the decisive factor in combining classic, modern, and future-oriented software packaging. With numerous new and improved functions, intelligent automatisms, and the integration of artificial intelligence, Raynet is further expanding its market position in the packaging area and providing the market with a solution that is second to none.

RayPack Studio 8.0 is the solution for companies and organizations to respond even faster to changing requirements, keep their portfolio up to date, and ensure the highest security standards.

With over 80,000 software packages, the integrated Package Store is the world’s largest library for preconfigured and immediately deployable software packages and covers more than 80% of business-critical and relevant software applications. With version 8.0, macOS packages are also available in addition to Windows packages. In combination with RayPack Studio, the Package Store thus provides the basis for automated Third-Party Patch and Security Management as well as for the provision of standard applications – without any packaging effort.

“Modern software packaging is about innovation. RayPack Studio 8.0 offers a variety of powerful tools designed to accelerate results for our users. Intelligent and AI-powered packaging workflows are at the heart of our solution, enabling organizations to save time, reduce complexity, and take end-to-end software packaging processes to a new level.”

The feature highlights at a glance:

Also available for macOS: ad-hoc provisioning of standard applications
RayPack now also enables the provision and individual packaging of macOS software packages from the Package Store. Thanks to versatile interfaces, packaging teams can automatically store the software packages in Intune, MECM, or Raynet One and reduce manual effort and repetitive processes.

AI-assisted checklists for smarter quality assurance
The integration of artificial intelligence in RayQC now automates the response to tasks in the checklist. By entering prompts, the plugin automatically generates answers and interactions, speeding up the workflow, taking over routine tasks efficiently and saving valuable time.

More efficient packaging through direct access to market & security data
In order to keep the entire software portfolio up to date, users now benefit from direct access to important market and vendor data, such as vulnerability or End-of-Life & End-of-Support information, as well as license types, functionalities, version details, or the latest updates. This not only optimizes processes, but also saves resources.

Better flexibility through repackaging in Windows Sandbox
With the new feature, RayPack supports repackaging within the Windows Sandbox, expanding deployment options beyond previous support for Workstation, vSphere, and Hyper-V environments. This feature allows users to utilize the Windows Sandbox as a simple, isolated environment for repackaging tasks – without having to set up a full virtual machine. This makes repackaging more efficient and secure than ever before.
