Your tasks at Raynet
- After comprehensive induction, you will create and maintain English-language technical documentation for our software products
- You prepare content textually and graphically for different target groups
- You gather all the relevant information you need for your work from the development and product management team with ease
- You scrutinize information and manage to put it in the perfect spotlight with documentation such as user manuals, installation instructions and product descriptions
- You get to the heart of technical descriptions and can convey complex content in a simple and understandable way
- By working closely with our development team, you will support an agile development process and document new product features and enhancements
- Through valuable insights and coordination with our project managers and technical consultants, you will get to know the use and application of our products at well-known customers and can thus continuously optimize the documentation and align it specifically with customer benefits
Our expectations
- You have experience in the software and technology sector
- You can show a writing portfolio with examples of your previous projects, work and documentation created
- You can express yourself confidently in written and spoken German and English and are a talented communicator
- You have sound knowledge of editorial systems (preferably Help & Manual)
- You have a high degree of team spirit, flexibility and initiative
- You have a passion for new technologies and can complete tasks quickly and effectively through the use of AI (e.g. ChatGPT), as well as your creative mindset and technical expertise
- Your independent, structured and careful way of working makes it easy for you to present complex issues in a way that is easy to understand
- You have a quick grasp and the ability to familiarize yourself with new concepts and technologies In addition to solid MS Office skills, you have real-world experience with content management systems
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and JIRA, as well as with Git and the use of videos and images to support documentation, is an advantage
- You have a degree or further training in technical communication, computer science, training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification with professional experience as a technical editor
