Your tasks at Raynet
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software components
- Ensuring ongoing operations by monitoring and optimizing system performance
- Administration of Windows and Linux systems
- Managing current Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint etc.
- Expansion, maintenance and optimization of LAN and WLAN networks across all locations, centrally controlled from Paderborn
- Configuration and monitoring of data backup strategies for data security and integrity
- Carrying out regular vulnerability scans and security updates
- 2nd level support
- Collaboration in and takeover of internal and customer-specific projects
- Requirements analysis, planning and configuration of new systems to optimize the IT infrastructure
- Documentation of the IT infrastructure for the further development of the operating manuals
Our expectations
- Completed training or studies in the field of computer science, IT or a comparable qualification
- 2 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Sound knowledge of Linux administration (server, Kubernetes and Docker)
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft (Windows Server/Client, Active Directory, Azure and MS365 environment)
- Knowledge of network administration (switches and firewalls)
- Experience and knowledge of the Barracuda firewall and VPN environment is desirable
- Experience with hypervisors (VMware, Proxmox and Hyper-V)
- Strong service orientation and analytical thinking
- Social competence and ability to work in a team
- Open, professional and always solution-oriented communication style
